Pia is a daughter of Hutch van Tiekerhook and Nickie von Ehret, and grandaughter the world reknown producing sires; Faro Policia, and Max van Tiekerhook. Pia has excellent hardness, strong aggression and prey drive, with full and firm grips. Her greatest working assets would be in either trailing & tracking or herding & tending or varmint hunting. Quite small in size, quick and agile, sharp as a firecracker with no fuse. Thrives with her handler, very biddable, but highly unsociable. She is not safe around cats or other small animals, and uneasy around particular dogs or people. While her food drive is unmatched, her motivation toward a toy or tug is un-noteworthy, although her competition for flirt-pole rag can be fierce. She will retrieve keys and other objects, but is not particularly interested in doing so. Her genetic background is composed from 50% west German, 42% DDR, and 8% Czech lineage, with no recent linebreeding. A proper fitting home is of high concern for this gal.
